After the Women’s World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy, another major event in ICC’s calendar this season, the U19 World Cup is set to kick off early next year. The mega event is scheduled to take place from 13 January to 3 February 2018 and will be hosted by New Zealand. With the tournament just around the corner, the teams have already started with the penultimate preparations in their bid to lift the coveted title.
Cricket Windies (CWI) selection panel on Friday announced a 15-member team and three reserves to participate in an 11-day camp in St. Kitts & Nevis. The camp which will run from December 10-20 will act as a preparatory ground before they depart the continent on December 28.
