Following their campaign in the World Cup, India and Windies are all set to lock horns in the three-match T20I series. The opening game is scheduled to be played on August 3 at Lauderhill, Florida and both teams would be keen to kick off their post-World Cup journey with a victory. Coming into the series, the Men in Blue rested quite a few of their big names, especially in the bowling department.
The Caribbean team also recalled Sunil Narine and Kieron Pollard. Last year, India thumped the Windies 3-0 at home. But on the head-to-head count in the format, the teams are locked on five wins each. Back in 2016, at the same venue, the Windies beat India by one run in a game, which produced almost 500 runs. KL Rahul and Evin Lewis scored tons in that game and they will take the field again.

Evin Lewis has both his T20I centuries versus India. He has 232 runs at an average of 116, compared to his overall average of 33.52. One of his tons was in Florida itself back in 2016. In a tactical move, he can well be made the captain.
