The stage is all set for the Indian captain Virat Kohli to break a few records against Windies in the two-match Test series, beginning in Antigua this Thursday. The current Indian skipper, Kohli is ICC No.1 ranked Test batsman, slightly ahead of former Australian skipper Steve Smith. Kohli is a master of breaking records and setting his own and it will not be any different in the Test series against Caribbeans.
Virat Kohli, who has scored 18 centuries as Test captain, needs another century to equalize the 19 centuries tally of Ricky Ponting as Test skipper. In the first Test against Windies at Sir Viv Richards Stadium, Antigua, Kohli has an opportunity to equalize this achievement. He has scored two centuries against Windies in Test cricket in which one of them is a doubleton.
If the Indian skipper achieves this feat, both he and Ponting will be the joint second behind Graeme Smith from South Africa, who slammed 25 centuries in 109 Test matches as South African captain, 17 of which came outside South Africa.

As a captain, it will be tough for Kohli and Indian team management to select the perfect XI in the Test series against Windies.
