World Cup 2019: 5 Players who can replace Alex Hales in England squad
These players have been constantly performing and it is time that they are rewarded with a World Cup spot.
5) Sam Hain
The Warwickshire cricketer is already being considered as the future of England cricket as he has generated some mind-boggling numbers in the domestic circuit. Sam Hain is a top-order batsman who can be an aggressor and an innings builder as well. The right-hander has been the batting mainstay for his domestic side from the last couple of years. The youngster can be included in the World cup squad as a replacement for Hales as he can be the surprise package.
At 23, Sam Hain has been showing a lot of maturity in his game and he has caught the attention of most of the yesteryear legends of three lions. Recently he stroked an unbeaten 161 against Worcestershire in the ongoing One-Day Cup which took his List-A batting average above Kohli and Amla and it is no mean feat. In his brief List-A career, Hain has already scored 10 centuries. He could be a surprise pick for the World Cup but can make an impact straightaway if the opportunity is presented.
