No team has been as accurate as New Zealand in putting on consistent performances each and every time at the ODI World Cups. Despite not winning a title, the Kiwis made it to the semis on seven instances at the CWC; the joint-most times along with Australia. Under the captaincy of Kane Williamson, the Blackcaps will be hopeful about continuing their legacy. However, the current set of players have got great success at home but not the same while playing away.

Here are the approaching milestones of the Blackcaps players ahead of the World Cup:

50 – Lockie Ferguson and Jimmy Neesham stand a chance of completing 50 wickets in the ODI format. Ferguson has 46 wickets to his name in only 27 ODIs while Neesham has 44 in 49 matches so far.

147 – Trent Boult has bagged 147 wickets in ODI cricket thus far in 79 matches. He needs three more wickets in the next two ODIs to become the 2nd fastest to complete 150 ODI wickets. Seven New Zealand players picked up 150 wickets before Boult in ODIs but none of them inside 100 games.

185Tim Southee needs 15 more wickets to become the 5th player with 200 ODI wickets for New Zealand in the 139 matches he played. Only Kyle Mills is the only Kiwi bowler to reach 200 ODI wickets in less than 150 matches. Southee has a chance to become the 2nd if he claimed 15 wickets at the World event.

246 – Ross Taylor needs four more sixes to become the 3rd player to hit 250 sixes in International cricket for New Zealand. If Taylor hit 12 more sixes, he will be the 5th player to smash 150 ODI sixes for the Blackcaps having hit 138 till date.

290 – Martin Guptill has hit 290 sixes in International cricket across 329 innings he batted so far. Guptill will be the 2nd player to hit 300 International sixes for the Kiwis after Brendon McCullum (398). Guptill would be the 3rd quickest to 300 sixes in Internationals after Shahid Afridi (295 inns) and Rohit Sharma (301 inns).

398 – The 2nd game at the CWC 2019 will be the 400th International for Ross Taylor as a New Zealand player. Only two players have represented New Zealand in over 400 Internationals thus far. Martin Guptill could also become the 6th player to complete 300 International appearances for the Kiwis at the ICC event if he features in 8 games.

496 – Tim Southee needs four more wickets to become the 3rd player to bag 500 wickets in International cricket for New Zealand. Only Daniel Vettori (696) and Sir Richard Hadlee (589) have picked 500+ wickets in Internationals for the Kiwis.

809Martin Guptill needs 191 more runs to complete 1000 runs at the ODI World Cups. Only Stephen Fleming (1075) scored over 1000 runs at the One-Day CWCs for New Zealand thus far.
