One of the most underrated players in international cricket, Ross Taylor’s impressive numbers in international cricket speaks about the importance of him for New Zealand cricket. His ability to play both paces and spin well makes him a match winner who has the ability to dismantle any bowling attack. With 8021 runs in 203 innings at an average of 48.32 and 20 centuries to his name makes him one of the best players in the history of ODI cricket. He has also been in tremendous form recently in ODI cricket and scored 639 runs in 10 innings in 2018. He along with Kane Williamson will be the key pair of the batsman for the New Zealand team in the World Cup and probably playing his last World Cup, Ross Taylor will look to make the most of it.
