5. MS Dhoni: Batting – 8 | Keeping – 9:
The veteran keeper-batsman has been a guiding light for the Indian team and his contributions can never be forgotten. MS Dhoni has scored only 1600 runs in the last 4 years which shows that his form has dipped a little bit. In this World Cup, Dhoni will have to use his experience in order to stabilize the Indian middle-order.
The Jharkhand cricketer can pull off any heist and in big tournaments, his calm-headed personality will benefit the team. Of late Dhoni’s style of batting and the time he needs before making a move on has hampered the team’s plans in big run-chases which halts his batting score to 8.
A wicketkeeper is an essential part of the side and Dhoni has proved it on multiple occasions. His stumpings are part of cricket folklore, and he is a saviour of the bowlers in pressure situations. Dhoni isn’t the most athletic of them all behind the stumps which denies him of a perfect grade and keeps his score at 9.
