7. Hardik Pandya: Batting – 8 | Bowling – 6 | Fielding – 9:
The Baroda all-rounder has been a vital cog of the Indian team. Since his debut, he has hammered over 700 runs and scalped 44 wickets. Hardik Pandya has justified his role in his journey and in this World Cup, the skipper will be banking on him for his finishing skills. He has thrown away his wicket in crucial ties but he can be given a score of 8 for his power game.
Hardik can fit into the role of 3rd seamer perfectly. He has the pace to trouble the batsmen and has the ability to pluck out wickets in the middle overs. Pandya needs to complete his spell on a regular basis which will be a key aspect for the Kohli-led side in England. In the past, the all-rounder has been vulnerable against good teams which brings his score down to 6.
He is a complete package with his fielding skills. Pandya can take blinders with ease and has often saved a lot of runs with his athleticism. He looks natural in this facet and has proved it on a regular basis. He has hardly failed in the field and that’s why he can be given a rating of 9.
