These two teams are at par in terms of the skills and seem to have the motivation to go the distance as well. While England being hosts are firm favourites, Australia has posed a different challenge and will be keen to make another final. Here is all you need to read for both the teams before picking your Fantain XI.

England

The team would be very cautious now. England has been the runner up thrice and were semi-finalists twice. Their current opponent is not one to be taken lightly ever.

England lost to Australia by 64 runs earlier. Apart from Finch, England had managed to restrict all other batsmen to a fairly low total, which is what they should feel good about.

England will depend on their batting pillars: Stokes, Bairstow, Root and Roy. Archer and Woakes lead their bowling attack.

Having never won the world cup before, this is their chance to make the most of it. They peaked in the beginning, dipped a bit and now are on the rise again. Things do look good for the home team indeed.

Considering how important this man is, Moeen Ali might be called back in after he was benched against New Zealand and India. He was dropped after England lost two matches in a row.

It looked like an Australia – New Zealand semi-finals. And then Australia lost to South Africa by 10 runs putting them in the second spot of the points table, thus changing the dynamics of the semi-finals.

Other than that, Australia has nothing to worry about. They know that they have what it takes to win the World Cup and more.
