Ashish Nehra is a perfect example of a fast bowler re-emergence into international cricket. Nehra has performed wonderfully ever since he made his return to the Indian team at the age of 36 during Australia’s tour ahead of the World T20. MS Dhoni desperately needed a bowler who could give him wickets in the powerplays and Nehra has fulfilled that role in the team. Four wickets in four games is not an extraordinary number but his tight miserly spells at the start of the inning opens the gates for other bowlers to come in and take advantage and has also dammed the run flow in the death overs which in the end ensured India the success.
