Poonam Pandey always makes the headlines either for her controversial comments or due to her personal life. In 2011, she was in the news for announcing that she will go nude if India wins the World Cup. Meanwhile, Poonam is somehow aware that India and New Zealand are fighting it out at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton to be crowned the World Champions in the Test format.

This time around as well, Poonam has said that she will think of st**ping if India manages to win the World Test Championship (WTC) Final. The first day of the much-awaited encounter was washed out due to rain while only 64.4 overs of play was possible on the second day. Bad light played its role in washing out almost the entire third session on Saturday even as the experts are hoping for weather to clear up on the remaining days.

Coming back to Poonam Pandey, while speaking to SpotboyE, she first confirmed if cricket is really going on and then stated that she will think of some controversy and also think if she will st**p again if India wins. “Cricket chalu hai? log cricket khel rahe hain? And if it is happening should I again say that I will st**p if India wins this time? I have no clue about this. I will go back home. I will check and think of controversy if possible,” she said.

India in a decent position

As far as the action in the middle is concerned, India survived testing conditions on the second day of the WTC Final. The openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill did a good job to keep New Zealand’s new ball bowlers Trent Boult and Tim Southee at bay. The duo added 62 runs for the opening stand before being dismissed in quick succession.

Even Cheteshwar Pujara was dismissed for 8 but then Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane stitched a solid unbeaten stand of 58 runs. They have looked good so far and will be keen on building on this start on the third day. India are currently 146/3 after 64.4 overs in their first innings.
