India cruised to the finals of Women’s World Cup with a win in the semifinals over the defending champions Australia, thanks to a monstrous inning of 171* by Harmanpreet Kaur off just 115 balls to lift India’s total to 281/4 in the restricted 42 overs after a rain delay. Australia fell only 36 runs short of the Indian total despite losing a bulk of wickets in a quick succession. India Women will now face the hosts England in the final at the Lord’s on Sunday.

2 – Number of centuries Harmanpreet Kaur now has scored in Women’s World Cup. She scored 107* vs England in 2013. Among Indians, only Mithali Raj has scored more than one century in WWC.

2 – Number of players including Harmanpreet who have scored a century in a Women’s World Cup knockout game. Karen Rolton scored 107* vs India in 2005 final.

3 – Number of times Ellyse Perry has been dismissed by Shikha Pandey in ODIs; the most she has dismissed any player.

5 – Number of ducks for Meg Lanning in ODI cricket. Her previous two ducks came on August 23rd in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

76 – Partnership stand between Alex Blackwell and Kirsten Beams is the highest for the 10th wicket in Women ODIs. The previous highest was 56 between India’s Amita Sharma and Gouher Sultana in 2012 against England.

90 – Balls Harmanpreet needed for her century in this game; the fastest century by an Indian in ODIs in Women’s cricket. The previous fastest record was also held by her with the century against Bangladesh in 2013. Though the exact number of balls she took for her century is not recorded, it is estimated that she got to her hundred in 95-98 balls.

105 – Partnership stand between Ellyse Perry and Elyse Villani for the 4th wicket; only the 2nd century stand for the 4th wicket in Women’s ODIs after losing 3 wickets inside 25 runs. New Zealand had an 116-run stand after losing 3 wickets for 12 runs against Australia in 1997.

108* – The previous highest individual score in a Women’s ODI game before Harmanpreet Kaur’s 171* was 108* by Mithali Raj in 2006 Asia Cup final against Pakistan.

109 – The previous highest individual score for India in Women’s World Cup before Harmanpreet’s 171* was Mithali’s 109 in their previous match against New Zealand.

171* – Harmanpreet’s 171* is the 5th highest individual score in Women’s ODI cricket and the 4th highest in Women’s World Cup.

281/4 – India’s total of 281/4 in this game is their joint 2nd highest total in Women’s World Cup. Their total of 284/7 against Windies in the opening game of the 2013 edition was the highest.
