The ninth iteration of the T20 World Cup commenced on June 1. The initial round features 20 teams, divided into four groups of five, competing for a place in the Super 8 stage. The tournament's inauguration will be marked by the match between the USA and Canada in Dallas. The Super 8 round is set to begin on June 19, with the top two teams from Groups A, B, C, and D advancing to this stage. The semi-finalists will be determined by the teams finishing in the top two positions in Groups 1 and 2.
