‘You have a big heart’ – Dhanashree Verma pens heartfelt note to wish husband Yuzvendra Chahal on 31st birthday

Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal turned 31 on Friday (July 23), and birthday wishes are pouring in for him from different quarters. Chahal is indeed one of the finest wrist spinners going around, and his numbers speak volumes of his prowess. Despite not being a massive turner of the ball, the leggie has tormented many prominent batters with his variations. He has also been a vital cog of India’s white-ball team for quite a while.

With Chahal being such an eminent figure in Indian cricket, social media got flooded with greetings on his special day. On the occasion, the spinner’s wife Dhanashree Verma also took to Instagram and penned a heartfelt note for her better half. While sharing a couple of adorable pictures, Dhanashree highlighted several qualities of Chahal besides cricket. She also hailed her husband for serving the country.

For the unversed, Chahal and Dhanashree tied knots in December last year and have been giving couple goals to fans since then. The duo has indeed been a fan-favorite couple as their respective social media pages are flooded with adorable posts. Hence, a heartwarming message from Dhanashree on Chahal’s birthday was certain. The leg-spinner was indeed overwhelmed with his wife’s gesture as he thanked her in the comment section. “Thank you wifey,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, Chahal has some work to do on his birthday as India and Sri Lanka will horns in the third and final ODI at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. With the Men in Blue already having a 2-0 unassailable lead, this fixture is a mere dead rubber. However, the visitors would be determined to continue their winning run.
