As Kolkata Knight Riders’ owner and Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan celebrates his 55th birthday on 2nd November 2020, team members of KKR stepped forward to wish the hero. Players wished the classy actor in their own styles and shared their best memories with him. They also talked about their first meeting with King Khan and mentioned their favourite dance moves of the actor.

In a video uploaded on KKR’s Twitter handle, players talked about many things related to the iconic actor. Former skipper of KKR Dinesh Karthik began talking about his experience and stated that he went to Bali earlier and even local people there recognized India on SRK’s name.

“I remember once going to Bali, and there were just two things which the auto driver told us — So, you are from India, Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Veer-Zaara. This is how famous he is,” said wicketkeeper-batsman Karthik.

The powerhouse of KKR, Andre Russell, also came up and admitted how he blushed when Shah Rukh hugged him, “It was a special moment. He (SRK) was so humble and cool. He was standing beside me and gave me a hug. I am a tough guy, but I was blushing.”

He is more exciting than Tom Cruise: KKR skipper Eoin Morgan

The current skipper of KKR, Eoin Morgan, called SRK even exciting than Tom Cruise, “Everybody described him as the Tom Cruise of India. He is actually more exciting than Tom Cruise.”

“You still look like you are 21. So, enjoy this and upcoming birthdays as well,” stated the star bowler Pat Cummins. The love from all these players for Khan is evident to what level of fandom he enjoys. Not only Indian players but foreigners equally admire him for his skills and class.

Talking about KKR’s current status in IPL 2020, they have jumped to the fourth position in the points tally after defeating Rajasthan in the most recent fixture. They still have some chances of seeing themselves in the playoffs spot this season. Only two matches of league season are left in IPL 2020.
