India is currently playing five-match T20I series against New Zealand. The Men in Blue took an unassailable lead of 3-0 against the hosts after winning the third game against BlackCaps that went into the tie-breaking Super Over.
The Indian skipper gave the ball to Jasprit Bumrah in the Super Over, who was smacked for 17 runs by the Kiwi batsmen. Now, Sanjay Manjkrekar, the former Indian cricketer has given some advice to the Indian pacer. However, it didn’t go down well with the fans due to which he was trolled by the fans upside down.
The third T20I that was played at Seddon Park in Hamilton touched crossed all limits of competition. India posted a competitive total of 179 runs for a loss of five wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Indian openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul helped their side in getting off to a great start as the duo stitched a brilliant partnership of 89 runs for the first wicket. Later on, Virat Kohli muscled 98 runs off 27 balls helped Men in Blue in ending their innings on a high note.
Sanjay Manjrekar tweets a piece of advice for Jasprit Bumrah
New Zealand gave an emphatic response as they also scored 179 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Kane Williamson played a magical knock of 95 runs off 48 balls studded with eight boundaries and six massive sixes. It was certainly a bad day for Jasprit Bumrah, who never looked at his best in the game. The speedster registered poor bowling figures of 0/45 in his four-over spell. It was a bad day for the right-arm fast bowler on the field.
However, Virat Kohli, the Indian skipper gave the ball in the hands of Bumrah for Super Over. The Kiwi batsmen muscled 17 runs off the Indian fast bowler with two boundaries and a six. It looked like the Men in Blue might lose the game but that was not the case. Rohit Sharma’s mesmerizing batting display in the Super Over helped Team India in winning the 3rd T20I
Sanjay Manjrekar took to his Twitter handle and he gave an important piece of advice to Jasprit Bumrah. His post read, “Watched that super over from Bumrah. He is such a fabulous bowler but he could use the crease a little more to create different delivery angles.”
Jasprit Bumrah is arguably one of the best bowlers across the globe. And, in cricket, any player can have a bad day on the field. The 3rd T20I turned out to be one of the days for the Indian fast bowler. The fans had all their sympathy with Jasprit Bumrah as they trolled Sanjay Manrekar in a hilarious fashion.
