9. Joe Root (England):
An Englishman having immense batting potential, Joe Root even after him being not-so-old in international cricket, he has shown immense maturity and patience with the bat. He takes his time, never seems to be in a hurry and doesn’t just throwaway his wicket. In the fourth test against India in 2012-13, his 73 from 229 balls candidly told the story of his patience. In the 2014 test series, he gave some clinical performances to accumulate 518 runs and also took a wicket. His 121 against Sri Lanka in the world cup made him the youngest English player to hit a century in the biggest extravaganza. Later in 2015 in the first match of the 5-match ODI series against New Zealand, Joe scored 104 of 78 batting at number 3 that revved up his team’s score to a record 408/9 and England won the match by 210 runs.
