Watch: Yusuf Pathan makes his dubsmash debut with a SRK dialogue

Yusuf Pathan, India’s hard-hitting right handed batsman and off-spinner, is an integral part of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The co-owner of KKR is the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Yusuf decided to test himself on dubsmash by mimicking a dialogue of SRK from the recently released film ‘Dilwale’.

Yusuf, a lower-middle order batsman, capable of giving the innings a mighty push in the slog overs with an uncanny ability to clear the ropes, looks determined to deliver the dialogue in the best possible manner. He does brilliantly well in lip syncing the audio clip. SRK must have surely been proud of Yusuf’s efforts on this particular occasion. Dubsmash is an application from which users can choose an audio recording or sound bite from movies, shows, music, and internet trends and record a video of themselves dubbing over that piece of audio.

Cricketers, like many other sportsmen have recorded popular dubsmash videos and seem to have developed a liking towards it. It came in as a surprise to see Yusuf do a dubsmash since it isn’t something we expect from him; he is known to be a shy individual, reserved in his bit.

He would have either liked the movie Dilwale so much so that he decided to comeup with a dubsmash, or the dialogue “hum shareef kya hue puri duniya hi badmash hogayi” must have caught him up while it can also be his way of appreciating SRK for his work in the film; the two share a great raport since Yusuf has been a part of KKR for a considerable time now.
