Yuvraj Singh battles with liger in tug of war, feeds monkey, bear and several other wild beasts
Yuvraj Singh showcased his adventurous side to fans.
Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh is widely regarded as one of the most destructive batters to have stepped onto the cricket field. After all, the southpaw tormented some of the best bowlers in the business. His ability to nail giant massive sixes with ease speaks volumes of his strength and ability. However, his powers weren’t enough to win a tug of war competition against a liger.
The southpaw took to Instagram on Sunday (October 3) and showcased his adventurous side to fans. Apparently, he shared of video of having fun with animals at Fame Park in Dubai. In the clip, the two-time World Cup winner can be seen playing tug of war with a liger. While Yuvraj and a couple of his friends were at one end of the rope, the other side was being pulled by the liger.
Although Yuvraj’s team eventually lost, the southpaw evidently enjoyed the experience. Later in the clip, the former left-handed batter had a huge snake put around his neck. He also fed a bear, monkey, and other wild beasts. The 39-year-old was at his candid best in the clip as fans were delighted seeing Yuvraj enjoying a gala time.
Had a lovely experience overcoming my fears: Yuvraj Singh
“Tiger vs liger and of course we know the end result 🤪🥵 had a lovely experience overcoming my fears, interacting with the true nature of the jungle. Thank you @sb_belhasa and @huzefa_ali,” Yuvraj captioned the clip.
Yuvraj, who retired from all forms of cricket in June 2019, has been pretty active on social media. Not very long ago, he recalled India’s T20 World Cup triumph as the historic day completed 14 years. The southpaw was instrumental in taking India to glory as he played several sensational knocks during the course of the competition. One of the highlights of the global event was Yuvraj hitting England’s Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over.
The southpaw also played a vital role in India’s triumphant campaign in the 2011 World Cup. He delivered in all three departments as the Men in Blue lifted the title after 28 years. The cricketer eventually bid adieu to all forms of cricket a couple of years ago.
