Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech expected to participate in Nach Baliye 8

Arguably the most stylish batsman in the cricketing history Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech is expected to be part of the popular dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye for the 8th edition. The talk doing rounds is that Yuvraj and Hazel have been approached to enter the competition as wild card participants.

“Yuvraj will be busy with the IPL for the next two months but the channel is keen to have Hazel and him on board as wild-card entries as the T20 league will be over by then. They have been in talks for a while now and the channel is hoping that they sign up in the coming weeks,” Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying. The show will be premiered on April 2 at Star Plus from 8 Pm.

Former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik and Tennis ace Sania Mirza was the last sports personalities who competed in Nach Baliye during the 5th edition of the reality show. Apart from them, several other cricketers have participated in other dance reality shows. While tainted Indian pacer Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh participated in Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena, Kris Srikant and Sanath Jayasuriya participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Ja season 6.

Yuvraj made a dramatic comeback in the national team during the recent limited overs series aginst England and looked in fabulous touch. He made his way to his highest score in ODI cricket smashing 150 in the 2nd ODI. He looked the same old Yuvraj and unleashed a barrage of attacking shots on the England bowlers. It was also his first century since the 2011 World Cup. It was an emotional moment for Yuvi to raise his bat after 6 years.

The cancer-surviving patient is undoubtedly an inspiration to people from all walks of the field. He also made some vital contributions in the following T20 series and would look to make a mark in the upcoming Champions Trophy to be played in England from June.
