Team India is just a couple of steps away from becoming the first team to win three ICC Champions Trophy titles. On Sunday, the simply outplayed South Africa in a virtual quarter-final, to move in the semis. On Thursday, they will take on their Asian counterparts Bangladesh at Edgbaston, Birmingham. Keeping the match against Sri Lanka aside, it has been a perfect campaign for the Men in Blue.

They defeated Pakistan and South Africa quite comfortably. Ask any cricket enthusiast to predict the winner of Thursday’s game and the obvious reply will be- India. But such has been the nature of the eight edition of Champions Trophy that no prediction can be guaranteed to turn true. But the current Indian side is definitely a team to beat and the Tigers know that well.

Hence, they decided to search for the weakest link – the chink in the armour. According to India Today, they have found one. Yuvraj Singh, the star all-rounder is apparently India’s weakest link, according to the Tigers. The experienced all-rounder was a bit sloppy in the field in the game against South Africa. Former teammate Zaheer Khan even ridiculed his fielding in a tweet.

Bangladesh to go pace-heavy with four seamers

Bangladesh will field 4 front-line pacers to rattle Indian batting on Thursday. Captain Mashrafe Mortaza will be supported by Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain. The news from inside the Bangladeshi camp is, they are looking to get either Rohit Sharma or Shikhar Dhawan alongside skipper Virat Kohli out early. Because that will expose India’s middle-order earlier than they would expect.

Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha also feels that his team is a better fielding unit that the opposition. So, the Bangladeshi team is all charged up to pull off another upset from their closet and knock out another big team, after they sent New Zealand packing from the tournament.
