Yuvraj Singh is Laureus' first India ambassador
He joined three Indian legends in the Laureus family.

Laureus an organization that aims at changing lives of disadvantaged children through sports has signed up Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh as the Laureus Ambassador. He is now a member of the Laureus Family that includes the Indian cricketing greats like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Kapil Dev. He made it to the event in Mumbai and witnessed the work that is done to give the children better lives.
Being the first India brand ambassador of Laureus Yuvraj said that it was an honour for him to be a part of the family and appreciated the work they’ve been putting in to change the fortunes of the kids. Having made a career out of sports Yuvi thinks that sport has the ability to shape up the future of these children.
It’s an honour
“It’s an honour for me to join the Laureus Family here in India and to find out first-hand the great work being done to help young people overcome challenges in their lives,” Yuvraj said. “I’m a firm believer in the power of sport and its incredible ability to change lives, it changed mine and I’m looking forward to helping Laureus in their goal to improve many more in the future,” he added.

Dravid welcomes Yuvi
Legend Rahul Dravid who is currently associated with the India A and U19 teams as the head coach welcomed Yuvraj to the new team and lauded his passion and willingness to give it back having achieved so much through his career in sports.
“I’m delighted to welcome Yuvraj to the team. Knowing him as both a cricketer and person, I understand how passionately he believes in the power of sport and how determined he is to give back to those in need,” Dravid was quoted as saying by TOI.
“I’m looking forward to working with Yuvraj once again, this time using sport to help young people overcome violence, discrimination and disadvantage,” he added.
