Cricket icon Yuvraj Singh took friendship goals to a whole new level by instantly implementing to his brothaman Rohit Sharma’s Twitter advice. Yuvraj and Rohit were involved a friendly banter on Twitter after Mumbai Indians lifted the IPL 2017 on Sunday. This was the third time Rohit Sharma led MI to victory, making him the most successful captain in the IPL.
Along with the win, Rohit also became the only player to win 4 IPL trophies. His first victory came during his stint at Deccan Chargers side in 2009, while the remaining 3 as skipper of the Mumbai Indians. Succeeding the Mumbaikar is former Indian captain MS Dhoni and opener Gautam Gambhir, both with two trophies each. However, it all started on 30 April on Rohit’s birthday when Yuvraj posted a quip message while wishing the right-hander.
The tweet read, “Hitman, it’s your birthday. Lots of love and best wishes brothaman. Hey, I hope @ritssajdeh (Ritika Sajdeh) will put some cake on those cute cheeks.” You can see the tweet below.

To this, Rohit replied, “Thank you paayan, she did put cake on my face but the real question is when are you returning that hairband to Hazel?”

However, on Tuesday morning Rohit posted another selfie with Yuvraj where it looked like he finally had a haircut and was in no more need of the hairband. Rohit tweeted saying, “The hairband has finally gone!”

As for Yuvi the Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder has had a mixed season this time around in the IPL. However, he has been featured in the Indian team that travels to the UK for the Champions Trophy in 2017. Both Yuvraj and Rohit are expected to play a key role and provide the team with their much-needed impetus if India is to defend the title.
Team India will fly to England tonight and play the first match against Pakistan on June 4.
