Yuvraj Singh shared his emotional story on the sets of KBC

Yuvraj and Vidya won Rs. 25 Lakhs on the show which was eventually donated to 'You We Can'.

The ousted Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh graced his presence on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati in its final episode of the season. The anchor of the show was none other than the legendary of Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. Yuvraj took to the hot seat along with the another Bollywood diva Vidya Balan who is currently busy with the promotions of her new upcoming film ‘Tumhari Sulu’. However, the finale of the show was filled was thrilled with fun and emotions as Yuvi shared his story of how he survived the deadly Cancer disease.

The show was aired on Sony Entertainment Television on November 6 and November 7 earlier this week. Both the celebrities played the game to collect the funds the NGO of the cricketer which spreads awareness about the Cancer – You We Can. The duo won Rs 25 Lakh on the show and also enjoyed a lot.

Teary-eyed Yuvi

The finale saw a lot of funny and several emotional moments, one of which was Yuvraj Singh’s story of how he went through the treatment of Cancer in 2011. The cricketer narrated how he battled Cancer and got teary-eyed recounting his experience. The moment left everyone emotional including Amitabh and Vidya who had to help Yuvi come back to normalcy after that.

“I too was escaping from the same (cancer) and I continued to play. Then the doctors told me if I continue to ignore my health then it’ll be difficult for you to survive. I thought the doctors are probably lying because I wanted to play and continued to neglect my health and then my condition deteriorated and so did my performance in the sport. With no alternative, I had to go for treatment,” he said on the show as quoted by NDTV.

However, he also took to social media website Twitter after completing the shoot to express his happiness after spending his time with Bollywood celebrities. He wrote, “An absolute honor it was to play the game of KBC with the legendary @SrBachchan .ThankU @vidya_balan For ur support Tune in tomo 7:30pm Sony.”
