India’s campaign in the ongoing Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been no less than stupendous. Rohit Sharma’s won the first three matches and then tied their match against Afghanistan. The Men in Blue now await the second finalist from the encounter between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Abu Dhabi. Shikhar Dhawan has made a significant contribution thus far.
He is one of the major reasons why India have been able to get a stranglehold on their opponents. He has scored 327 runs in four matches at an incredible average of 81.75. Moreover, he has notched a couple of centuries against Hong Kong in the Group stage and Pakistan in the Super 4. The Delhi-born cricketer didn’t play India’s previous match against Asghar Afghan and Co.
Dhawan and Chahal’s camaraderie
On the other hand, leg-break bowler Yuzvendra Chahal didn’t have overwhelming outings. He finished with a three-wicket haul against Anshuman Rath’s men and then couldn’t pick up a single wicket against Bangladesh and Pakistan. The Haryana-born tweaker was rested from the last match. In the meantime, both Chahal and Dhawan were engaged in a funny conversation recently.
Chahal recently posted a picture on Instagram where he was seen promoting a debit card of Oriental Bank of Commerce. In the post, the advantages of the card were also mentioned. He took to the social media platform and wrote, “Get the flexibility to use and manage your #Oriental Debit cum ATM Card securely and conveniently with #OrientalCardControl facility,”

After the post, Dhawan didn’t turn any stone down to troll his teammate. He took a funny dig at Chahal’s skinny outlook and wrote, “Suit ban gya tere size ka mere sher”
Chahal had a prompt reply in place for the Indian opening batsman. He reverted to Dhawan and wrote, “@shikhardofficial setting se bhaiya”
