India have made a great start to the year 2020. After beating Sri Lanka and Australia at home, the Men in Blue have weaved magic in New Zealand as well. Virat Kohli and Co have managed to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match T20I series. Both their victories came while batting second at the Eden Park in Auckland. KL Rahul scored half-centuries in consecutive games to help India clinch the ascendancy.
The third T20I is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, January 29 at the Seddon Park in Hamilton. Another victory will help the visiting team take an unassailable lead in the series. Amidst all the action on the field, mood in the Indian camp is aplomb and rightly so. The positive vibes were felt in the team bus where Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian spinner, decided to have some fun with his mates.
Featuring on ‘CHAHAL TV’ the tweaker had some rib-tickling interactions with some of his teammates. He had a chat with Rishabh Pant, Mohammed Shami, Kuldeep Yadav and Rahul. But in the end, he went to fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who was sitting on the backside.
Chahal asked the speedster why he doesn’t go for dinner with the former. Chahal then looked at the camera and gave a witty smile. Bumrah didn’t die wondering and turned up with an even more hilarious reply. He stated that he is always free for Chahal.

Bumrah and Chahal having a gala time on the field
Bumrah and Chahal have played key roles in India’s success thus far. Bumrah has been hard to get away even on the batting belters. The pacer only has a couple of wickets to his name, but at an economy of 6.50. Chahal, on the other hand, hasn’t been overly disappointing either. He has got a solitary scalp, coming in the opening match, at a decent economy rate of 8.12.
In both games, the duo completed their quota of four overs, showing how much the team trusts them. Bumrah made a comeback earlier this year after recovering from his stress fracture on his lower back. He ended up missing the home series against South Africa, Bangladesh and the West Indies.
