Yuzvendra Chahal lauds Indian Air Force after they destroy the terrorist launchpads
Chahal is the first cricketer from the current Indian team to react.
The Pulwama attack which led to India losing their more than 40 braveheart CRPF soldiers caused a severe outrage in the nation. After a lot of arguments and discussions on various matters related to Pakistan, the Indian Air Force (IAF), in the wee hours of Tuesday, destroyed three terrorist launchpads of Jaish-E-Mohammed much to the delight of every person in India.
India woke up to a piece of good news as it was reported that the Air Strike was done with utmost precision and even the Foreign Minister Vijay Gokhale has released a statement claiming that 200-300 militants have been killed in the attack. The whole nation is praising the IAF’s efforts and even the cricketers are not behind in this aspect.
Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have already lauded the IAF in their own style on Tuesday morning and the Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has also come up with a tweet now on the same. “Indian Air Force Bohot Hard Bohot Hard #IndiaStrikesBack #JaiHind,” he tweeted.
Chahal gearing up for the second T20I
Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal is gearing up for the second and final T20I against Australia at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. India have already lost the first game by three wickets in a last-ball thriller. Chahal, in the absence of Kuldeep Yadav, will be crucial for the hosts. He did well in the series opener and was responsible for the collapse of the opposition.
Despite being hit for the runs, the leggie continued to flight the ball which accounted for Glenn Maxwell’s wicket and Australia collapsed from being comfortable at 89/2 to 113/7. If not for Umesh Yadav’s poor execution in the final over, India would’ve completed a brilliant comeback much to the delight of the jam-packed crowd in Vizag. The Men in Blue will now be hoping to level the series on Wednesday.
