After a pretty lacklustre show in the two-match T20I series against Australia, leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal hasn’t got an opportunity to play in the opening two One Day Internationals in Hyderabad and Nagpur respectively. However, the pocket-size dynamite has been up and running and bringing out new episodes of his popular chat show named ‘Chahal TV’.
Yesterday, the leggie had the chance to interview Virat Kohli, the Indian captain, and Vijay Shankar after India’s eight-run victory at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Shankar and Kohli were two crucial components in the Men in Blue’s triumph. The 30-year-old Kohli got to his 40th ODI century and bagged his 50th international Man of the Match award.
Previously the likes of Rohit Sharma, the Indian vice-captain, and Smriti Mandhana also graced their presence on the show. In the meantime, Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan spinner, expressed his desire to feature on the chat show. Chahal posted a tweet shared on BCCI’s official Twitter handle. Rashid replied to the tweet and wrote, “Hami bi khabi invite karo apni channel pe bhai jan @yuzi_chahal,”

Chahal spotted the tweet and he didn’t disappoint the Afghan spin-bowling prodigy by any stretch of the imagination. Chahal replied and wrote, “Jab aap ke pass time ho bhai jaan,”

Rashid in Dehradun
Rashid is currently in Dehradun where Afghanistan are currently playing a five-match ODI series against Ireland, which is currently level at 1-1 with two games remaining. The 20-year-old weaved his magic in the T20I series previously, picking up 11 wickets with a five-wicket-haul to his name.
In the third game, Rashid went on to claim a hat-trick. He has been a tad indifferent though in the 50-overs format as he has only picked up two wickets in as many games. After the international fixtures, Rashid would be playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
