Yuzvendra Chahal picks the actor he would want to play the lead in his biopic
Chahal hogged the limelight with a six-wicket haul in the ongoing third ODI against Australia.
Yuzvendra Chahal has grown in stature as a leg-spinner ever since he has made his debut at the international level. His performance along with Kuldeep Yadav has led to the selectors keeping out Ravi Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja of the ODI team. Though the latter has made his comeback, the wrist-spinners have continued to make an impact. Chahal also picked a sensational six-wicket haul in the ongoing third ODI against Australia while playing for the first time in the series.
India dropped Kuldeep Yadav for the decider and brought in the leggie who had so far appeared only on Chahal TV interviewing the top performers after the game. Having said that, Chahal has grabbed on the opportunity whenever he has made it to the playing XI. His figures of 6/42 in the match are also the joint-best for the Indian bowler at the MCG along with Ajit Agarkar.
Chahal names the actor
Meanwhile, recently, in a candid interview with ESPNCricinfo, Yuzvendra Chahal took a plethora of questions and was also quick to answer a lot of those. Among them, one of the queries was the Bollywood actor he would pick to play his role in his biopic. Chahal was quick to pick Randeep Hooda for the role who has performed a few classy acts in the Bollywood Industry so far in his career.
Chahal picked Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav as his 3 AM friends. His camaraderie with both the players is well known to everyone and more so with the former. Chahal is more often than not seen having fun with Rohit and always takes a funny dig at his wife Ritika Sajdeh on social media posts.
The case with Kuldeep is even more interesting as the duo loves bowling in tandem in the ODIs and T20Is as they spin a web around the opposition batsmen cleverly.
