Indian leggie Yuzvendra Chahal is doing the rounds on social media after his cryptic post on Instagram led fans to believe his separation from wife Dhanashree Verma. But the Indian star has cleared the air with his latest Instagram story, requesting fans to refrain from believing rumours about his relationship with his wife.
Yuzvendra Chahal tied the know with beau Dhanashree Verma in December 2020 after meeting each other on Instagram. Dhanashree often shares endearing pictures of her husband on her social media handle and both of them are one of the most adored couples in the sports world.
The rumours of their separation spread like wildfire after Chahal had posted a cryptic Instagram story that read ‘ New lIfe Loading, and was followed by his choreographer wife removing the ‘Chahal’ surname from her Instagram bio. The events led fans on social media to believe rumours of their separation. Adding fuel to the fire, a parody account of ANI flashed the news that cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and YouTuber Dhanashree Verma filed for divorce in Punjab Court on Thursday.
But the Indian spinning ace has urged the fans to stop believing the rumours pertaining to his relationship and has urged people to stop spreading these rumours after the duo was trending on Twitter earlier today.
Chahal will return to action in the Asia Cup later this month
Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree have been inseparable since their marriage and the latter can be seen in the stands during her husband’s matches. She was alongside the Indian leggie there for the whole of IPL 2022 inside the bio-secure bubble, and also travelled with him for the Ireland tour earlier this year.
The Indian leg spinner has been rested for the ongoing series between India and Zimbabwe and will feature for the Men in Blues next in the upcoming edition of Asia Cup, later this month in the UAE. He will be a vital cog in the Indian bowling unit since other senior players like Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel have been ruled out of the tournament due to injuries.
