The three-match ODI series between India and Zimbabwe concluded in a horror showing in terms of Zimbabwean performances. Apart from the clean sweep of 3-0, the performances of some of the Zimbabwe players have questioned their existence as a full-membered nation affiliated with the ICC. While that topic will always be up for discussion, we take a quick look at how each player fared in the recently concluded ODI series against India.
Chamu Chibhabha – 6/10
One of the best if not the best Zimbabwe player in the series. In spite of scoring just the 61 runs in the three matches he played, he consistently got the hosts off to decent starts. He also contributed with the ball as he picked up one wicket in the series, that being KL Rahul in the second ODI.
Peter Moor – 2.5/10
Peter Moor played just the first ODI of the series. He was dropped for the subsequent ODIs after scoring just three runs opening the batting. He was cleaned up by Barinder Sran in the first ODI, becoming the first wicket to fall in the series.
Vusi Sibanda – 6.5/10
The 32-year old was perhaps the best batsman for Zimbabwe in the series. He was also the highest run-getter for the hosts in the series with 105 runs to his name. He was also the only Zimbabwean player to score a half-century and also scored a valiant 38 in the third ODI. However, his performance was not backed up by the rest of the players in the side.

Elton Chigambura – 5.5/10

Craig Ervine – 3/10
The younger Ervine brother played just the one match. However, he scored just 21 runs and didn’t bowl, subsequently being dropped for the next two ODIs.
Sikandar Raza – 5.5/10
One of Zimbabwe’s best batsmen at the moment, Sikandar Raza has been a terrible disappointment in the series thus far. Having played just the first two ODIs, Raza was able to muster just the 39 runs and a wicket to his name.
Richmond Mutumbami – 3.5/10
Apart from his wicketkeeping skills, Richmond Mutumbami’s series was subdued by terrible batting performance. On all three occasions, Mutumbami was a part of the Zimbabwe collapse.
Timycen Maruma – 2.5/10
Maruma played just the third ODI of the series and did well to score the 17 runs he did. He was also a scalp of Jasprit Bumrah as the latter concluded his spell with 4 wickets.
Graeme Cremer – 3/10
The Zimbabwe skipper was perhaps the most disappointing of the performers in the recently concluded ODI series. He managed just 15 runs in the series and failed to pick up any wickets as well.

Donald Tiripano – 2.5/10
Like many of the players, Tiripano played only the third ODI without making any impact whatsoever.
Sean Williams – N/A
Sean Williams was named in the squad for the third ODI. However, he didn’t bat or field courtesy of an injury.
