3 – In the overall record, Abid Ali is the third Pakistan batsman to smack a Test double ton against Zimbabwe. While in Zimbabwe, he is just the second Pakistan player after Younis Khan to achieve the milestone.

1 – This was the first double century in Test cricket for Abid Ali. He became the second-oldest player in terms of scoring maiden Test double ton after Mohammad Hafeez from Pakistan.

2 – Abid Ali is only the second opener to smash a Test double century this year. Earlier, Dimuth Karunaratne had slammed a double hundred against Bangladesh.

2 – Nauman Ali missed out on his hundred as he got out for 97 runs off 104 balls. He registered the second-highest score by a number 9 batsman in Zimbabwe.
