With the series evenly poised at 1-1, the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 caravan now moves to the Gabba in Brisbane, the venue of India's arguably the greatest Test triumph.
In the first Test, in Perth, both teams were bowled out cheaply in their first innings, but the Indians batted long enough in the third innings to allow themselves a 295-run win.
The hosts eventually settled scores in the Day-Night Test at Adelaide. Travis Head made a blitzkrieg century on either side of India's batting collapses that left Australia with just 19 runs to win in the fourth innings. The series was eventually level.
While the Aussies have already unveiled their Playing XI for this Test, India still have some questions to answer after a dismal batting display in Adelaide, where they couldn't pass 200 in either innings.
Here are the upcoming milestones for players of both teams for this Test:
100 - This Test will mark Virat Kohli's 100th international match against Australia. He will become only the second Indian after Sachin Tendulkar to get to the mark.
89 - Alex Carey needs 89 runs to get to 1500 runs in Test cricket.
87 - Travis Head is 87 runs away from 3500 runs in Tests.
15 - Usman Khawaja needs 15 runs to get 5500 runs in Tests.
8 - Mitchell Starc is eight wickets away from completing 600 wickets in international cricket.
4 - Ravichandran Ashwin is four wickets away from getting 150 wickets in international cricket against Australia.
6 - Washington Sundar needs six wickets to complete 100 wickets in international cricket.
