IPL 2024 Orange Cap Holder List: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's veteran batter Virat Kohli leads the Orange Cap race in IPL 2024 with 500 runs after KKR vs DC Match 47.

CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad breached the Orange Cap list to stand next to Virat Kohli. The Maharashtra batter has scored 447 runs so far, which includes a century at Chepauk in match 39. Ruturaj's average is also an astonishing 63.86, which is a thing to applaud since he is also donning the captaincy hat for the defending champions in the ongoing season, taking over the reins from legendary skipper MS Dhoni.

Sai Sudharsan's IPL purple patch continued at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The left-hand batter scored 84* from 49 balls at a strike rate of 171.42. He also climbed the run-getter charts jumping to second place with 418 runs in ten innings.

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has also looked in imperious form on his comeback to the cricket field after surviving a near-fatal car accident. The southpaw sits on the fourth spot with 398 runs from 11 innings at an average of 44.22 and a strike rate of 158.57. He also has the best average (77) among top 20 batters on the Orange Cap list which shows his consistency in the league. With India's T20 squad selection beckoning, Sanju is certainly leaving a lot to think to the selectors.

KL Rahul is also in the race with his timely 76 against RR in Match 44. The LSG captain has been leading from the front having notched 378 runs in 9 matches so far. His strike rate of 144.27 isn't too shabby either. With T20 World Cup right on the horizon Rahul is keeping the door for selection still ajar.
