Rohit Sharma is the current vice-captain of Team India in limited-overs format who is one of the finest strikers of the cricket ball. When he made his debut, there was a huge buzz about his talent. But, he could not establish himself in the national squad until the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. As soon as he was promoted to open the innings, Rohit looked a completely different player.

He has played 227 ODIs and 111 T20Is for Team India. Because of his contributions, he is in the “A+” category of the BCCI contract list. This means that he is receiving a salary of INR 7 crores for his services to the national side.

He is the most successful captain in the history of the IPL. For the Mumbai Indians, Rohit has won 5 IPL titles so far. Rohit’s captaincy has made him an IPL legend. As MI has won 5 titles under him, the captain receives INR 15 crore for his services.
