IPL 2026 Schedule
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the schedule for the first 20 matches of the 19th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on March 11.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), winners of IPL 2025, lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the opening match of the upcoming season on Saturday, March 28. This match is scheduled to be hosted by the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, a venue which hasn't hosted a match in months.
After the first two days of the tournament, each week, there are going to be two double-headers. One of the biggest rivalries in the competition is the one between the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
However, these two teams won't meet each other in this phase of the tournament as the Board for Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has yet to release the full schedule owing to the state assembly elections in a few states that are the home bases of IPL franchises.
