8. Wasim Akram – Attacked by Gunman:

Pakistani cricket legend Wasim Akram escaped unhurt when a gunman opened fire at his car in Karachi after a traffic collision, the player said. Akram, one of the best left-arm fast bowlers to ever play the game, was on his way to coach at a training camp at the city’s National Stadium when the incident happened.

“A car hit mine, I stopped him and then this guy stepped out and fired at my car,” quoted Akram after the incident. However, he had a close shave as the matter was soon sorted out by the officials.
