Some players come and go but there have always been a few names that stayed on for long, and have proved themselves worthwhile. They aged but their talent did not diminish rather ripened with experience. Cricket world has bowed down to their wondrous performances during the last stages of their careers.

1. Bradd Hogg:

Brad Hogg the Australian spinner made his debut in the International Cricket back in 1996 though his tenure didn’t last long in his debut year and he was not selected in the Australian team for the next seven years and 78 games. He made a comeback in 2002 and it was from the year 2003 that Hogg became one of the prominent members of the Australian squad. Hogg is Australia’s most volatile Chinaman since Fleetwood Smith in 1930s. He made a show against Zimbabwe’s best Andy Flower when he bowled a flipper to him. The way his ball from off to leg for the right handers is a gift.

Hogg played for 7 more years in 36 ODIs and accounted 156 wickets. He retired from Test and one-day Internationals in 2008 but played for the T20 World Cup for Australia in 2014 and still continues to play league cricket at the age of 40.
