10 Cricketers who will be benefitted if BCCI adds two more IPL teams in 2022
The below-mentioned players haven't gotten many chances despite having loads of talent to show for their efforts.
5. Joe Root
Joseph Edward Root, considered as a player of the longer format by most of the people, was an aggressive batsman earlier. In the T20s he used to change his gears, unlike Test cricket.
His match-winning knock against West Indies in the 2016 T20 World Cup is often considered as one of his best T20 innings. Root is among those players who haven’t played for a single franchise in the IPL. Of course, he is a great Test player but he is a good one in T20s too.
As new teams are getting added in 2022, there can be some good bidding for him. As a top-order batsman, he can be very useful. So two new teams will create great opportunities for this English star player.
