10 forgotten players of IPL: They played crucial role for their franchises when they played. They were very important in their franchises’ success. And now, they found tough to get themselves an IPL contract with their poor form or lack of interest in the team owners. Mahela led teams even in presence of star Indian players during his stint. In 80 matches, Mahela scored 1802 runs at an average of 28.60 with help of 10 fifties and a century. 2 – Kumar Sangakkara: Kumar Sangakkara was one of the important overseas players to play in IPL. He played for Kings XI Punjab and Hyderabad franchises in his 6 years IPL career. He even led his sides throughout the seasons. In 71 matches, he scored 1687 runs at an average of 25.95 with 10 fifties before been ignored like the other Sri Lankans. 1 – RP Singh: RP Singh has been one of those bowlers who stood in top 10 wickets takes list in IPL. He played very crucial role for Deccan Chargers in title gaining in 2009 season. He played for the side till 2010 before been bought by Kochi. RP Singh picked up 87 wickets in 78 matches at an average of 25.59 and stood at 8th place in highest wicket takers list of IPL.
