Rajasthan Royals cricketer Ajit Chandila was one among the three prominent faces in the IPL 2013 to have been caught in the spot fixing scandal. Chandila had been a promising talent for RR in the season. He was often handed the responsibility of bowling in the powerplays during the season.

In fact, in the 2012 edition, Chandila had even bagged a hat-trick in a fixture against the Pune Warriors India. He was held guilty of misconduct and corruption by the Anti-Corruption Unit of the BCCI. He had reportedly bowled no balls at will and gave away runs. He was handed a life ban.
