9. Carlos Brathwaite:
The West Indian all-rounder made headlines fetching a high price during the recent IPL auctions. This was after his splendid performances in Australia made everyone take notice of his talent. At the Boxing Day game in Melbourne, he helped Darren Bravo stem a first innings collapse with a 59 on debut at No. 8. In the rain-affected Sydney Test, he struck a lively 71-ball 69. The powerfully built Brathwaite has played just 2 T20Is scoring 2 runs and taken 1 wicket. His 37 T20s though have produced 307 runs and 33 wickets. These numbers are sure to improve considering the skills he possesses.
