A couple of months before AB’s retirement questions that did rounds, another cricketer Saeed Ajmal was rumoured to be retiring from all forms of the game. The 37-year-old off-spinner from Pakistan rubbished all claims with a press release quoting, “I am a fighter and will fight to regain my spot. Not retiring from International Cricket at all.” Ajmal’s manager Mr Moghees Sheikh also took to media to quote, “All these reports are false.” Ajmal was banned for suspect bowling action last year after which he was cleared of all charges in February 2015. The wily spinner, however, looked off-color and is now vying for a comeback in the team.
