The second half of the Indian Premier League is all set to kick start from September 19 at the UAE. The fans are all raring and are prepping themselves to watch the action unfold yet again. Along with the fans, it seems that India’s spinner Yuzvendra Chahal too cannot wait for the IPL to resume.
Chahal took it to his official Instagram account to express his eagerness to take the charge of the field. The spinner posted a picture with India and RCB captain Virat Kohli. The image uploaded by him is from the first phase of the IPL. In the picture posted by Chahal, the duo seems to be discussing some plans as skipper Kohli has a stern expression on his face.
RCB will resume their campaign on September 20 when the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will battle it out against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2021. It however seems that Chahal cannot wait any longer for the big day as he captioned the image as: “Bhaiya yeah 20th September kab aayega?” His humorous post fetched the attention of a lot of his followers and fans. India and KKR spinner Kuldeep Yadav too left his comment on the post.
Kuldeep Yadav reacts to Yuzvendra Chahal’s Instagram post
As Chahal asked the question as to when will September 20 arrive, Kuldeep Yadav came up with a hilarious reply to it. “19 ke baad. (After September 19.),” he wrote. It did not stop here, as both the players got involved in a humorous exchange of words as Chahal replied to Yadav: “21st se pehle nahi (Not before 21st ).”

Yuzvendra Chahal was instrumental for RCB last year when the IPL was hosted in the UAE. The leg spinner had clinched 21 wickets in 15 matches at an economy rate of 7.08 runs per over. However, in this edition of the tournament, he hasn’t had a very pleasant season so far. Chahal has managed to scalp only four wickets in seven games, with his economy rate being more than eight runs.
RCB has had an impressive start to their tournament. They will be keen to continue their momentum in the UAE as well. It would be intriguing to watch so as to how Chahal can help the team to continue their domination.
