3. Ben Stokes
Widely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders the world has ever produced, Ben stokes has enjoyed a good amount of success in the IPL so far. He made his debut in the year 2017 where he would go on to represent the Rising Pune Super Giants under Steve Smith’s captaincy.
Ben stokes has two centuries to his name (one for the Pune franchise and another came in 2020 when he was playing for the Rajasthan Royals) which symbolizes how dangerous he is. This year at the mega auctions, Stokes didn’t appear as he decided to focus on his International test career more. Incidentally, Stokes has now been made the new test captain for the England side after Joe Root resigned from that position post the conclusion of the West Indies tour.
With this added responsibility, Ben stokes will now be a newly equipped player, and Delhi Capitals by grabbing Stokes at next year’s auction can make their team composition formidable. Stokes can help in all batting, bowling, and fielding departments, and now with the captaincy material he has become, he can also bring in some experience that will be very useful for Pant and the Capitals as a whole.
