Kane Williamson (New Zealand)
Kane was made the captain of the New Zealand Under-19 team in 2008, and he grabbed everyone’s attention with his top class leadership and batting. He made his ODI debut in 2010 against India. He also made his test debut later that year. The Kiwi batsman can be compared with Virat for his consistency. He has shown the ability to score through proper cricketing shots, a thing that has become a matter of past in modern day cricket.
He has played 72 Tests, 139 ODIs and 57 T20Is scoring 6139, 5555 and 1505 runs respectively. He also won the orange cap in IPL 2018, where he had 735 runs. A lot will depend on him if NZ wants to excel at this World Cup. He would be ready to provide Virat with tough competition in the tournament.
