3. Parthiv Patel
Parthiv Patel is one of the most experienced players in the IPL circuit ever since he made his debut for the Kings XI Punjab in 2008. From there on, he has tried his luck with a number of other franchises. Over the years, he has played the role of someone, who has to take advantage of the fielding restrictions.
In 139 matches, Parthiv has 2848 runs with 13 fifties to show for his efforts. In 2018, RCB brought him at INR 1.70 crores and he hasn’t let his team down. Though he hasn’t captained an IPL side, the southpaw has led in India’s domestic circuit, representing Gujarat.
In the 2016-17 edition of the Ranji Trophy, he captained his team to its maiden title. He churned out 143 in the second innings and helped Gujarat chase down 313. RCB can keep him as a captaincy option without much of a doubt.
