Given how injury-prone the Indian players have become recently, it might be possible that the BCCI orders better treatment of Ishant's injury which would rule him out of the entire IPL season.

Another Indian left-arm fast bowling option present in the list of unsold players is the former Mumbai Indians player, Barinder Sran. The former Indian international has played for multiple IPL franchises in the past however, he could not settle himself in one team. The Sirsa-born player has played 48 T20 matches in his entire career.

In those 48 games, the 27-year-old has bowled in all the innings, picking up 46 wickets with his best figures being 4/10. Speaking of his international experience, Sran featured in two T20I matches for India where he scalped 6 wickets yet he was dropped from the team.

With the T20 World Cup 2020 approaching soon, India need a decent left-arm pace bowler so, Delhi Capitals should try to sign Sran because he will look forward to this IPL season as an opportunity to return to international cricket and play his best cricket.
