Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) may have a decent depth as far as middle-order batsmen are concerned. The likes of Nitish Rana, Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell form the heart of the middle order. They also have the likes of Carlos Braithwaite and Joe Denly in the mix.

Hence, the question may well come that where does Glenn Maxwell fit in this? With Karthik and Russell being the finishers, Maxwell could well be used as a floater. In fact, they could use him at No. 3 as well with Rana, Russell and Karthik to follow which makes the batting wear a formidable look. The Aussie all-rounder may well relish in that role.
