4. Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan is a flamboyant left-handed opening batter of the Indian cricket team. He is a player who can destroy the opposition if he is in a good nick. Dhawan was picked by Delhi Daredevils in the inaugural season in 2008.
Later, he represented Mumbai Indians for two seasons and was picked by Deccan Chargers in 2011 and it transformed his career. Then he represented Sunrisers Hyderabad for the rest of his IPL career until he was purchased by Delhi Capitals in 2019.
He has played 192 matches and has hit 5784 runs with a strike rate of 126.64. In 2020, he became the first batter to hit consecutive hundreds. In 2021, he scored 587 runs and finished 4th on the orange cap list. His experience and his consistent performance would make the team think about retaining this southpaw.
